Power Integrity™ with OVERSITE™

Remote Control Solution

The Power Integrity™ Remote Control Solution (RCS) fueling control panel combines the required dispenser/pump disconnects, dispenser hook isolation, low-voltage dispenser data disconnects, and E-stops into a single panel. The RCS also provides advanced device power status monitoring, remote E-Stop engagement, and remote power resetting capabilities for fuel system and C-store critical assets.

With OVERSITE™ remote monitoring and power cycling capabilities, C-Store operators can remotely reset fuel dispensers, site controllers, submersible pumps, and more, significantly reducing the need for costly on-site maintenance trips and eliminating the expenses associated with extended downtime.

REMOTE CONTROL SOLUTION

Every site requires a fuel control panel and NEC® safety systems. The RCS with OVERSITE™ combines these functions and goes beyond basic requirements, enabling remote visibility, control, and reset capabilities for fuel systems and other critical C-store equipment.

OVERSITE™ is an advanced device networking platform that leverages the critical asset connections to enable remote monitoring and control. This innovative technology offers a solution for overseeing equipment issues and outages and enabling timely responses.

RCS-Icon-Power Cycle.psd

The RCS enables remote monitoring, activation, and power cycling of connected devices like dispensers, pumps, site controllers, distribution boxes, price signage, and more. With OVERSITE™, operators can restore site assets through automated sequencing that brings devices back on in the correct order and timing, eliminating the need for on-site service calls.

RCS_Wide_Benefits_1.psd
THE BENEFITS OF OVERSITE™

As reported by a top US C-store operator, it is estimated that up to 80% of their on-site service calls for equipment outages simply require a common power cycle to bring their equipment back online. The RCS facilitates remote power cycling to minimize truck rolls and reduce asset downtime.

RCS-Icon-Uptime_1.psd

With early notification of power outages, equipment failures, and E-Stop engagements, remote power cycling allows operators to reset assets quickly, avoid the wait for a technician to arrive, and mitigate the impacts of downtime on business.

RCS-Icon-Maintenance_1.psd

Remote power cycling can significantly decrease or eliminate the need for service truck rolls, leading to substantial cost savings and faster recovery times.

RCS-Icon-Workload_1.psd

Improve asset outage troubleshooting, minimize on-site personnel involvement, and allow technicians to focus on planned activities versus unplanned ones. Maximize workforce efficiency and response times with remote power cycling.

HOW OVERSITE™ WORKS

The RCS features OVERSITE™ technology, an advanced device networking platform that enables remote visibility, control, and reset capabilities for fuel systems and other critical C-store equipment that is vital to daily business operations.

RCS_How_Icon_Breaker.psd

Traditionally, fuel system and C-store critical assets have been directly wired to circuit breakers in-line with a fuel panel's E-stop control circuit. Interactions with E-stops and power cycling had to happen physically at the site level with boots on the ground, requiring a service call.

RCS_How_Icon_RCS.psd

With OVERSITE™, the RCS serves as a central hub that controls and monitors essential site asset power connections and interfaces them through the server/network, enabling remote triggers and device reset capabilities. OVERSITE™ also allows sequencing of power to devices, simplifying the process of restoring power to system components in a predefined order.

RCS_How_Icon_EVO.psd

Integrating the EVO™ Series enhances OVERSITE™ capabilities with sensor/time-driven event response automation and delivers deeper visibility into site conditions for proactive, more informed responses to site conditions.

TURNKEY SAFETY COMPLIANCE

The RCS combines all of the NEC® required safety components into a single, integrated solution with the ability to remotely monitor and control these functions.

RCS_NEC_E-Stop.psd

Integrated Functionality

Immediately shuts down power to all fuel dispensers, pumps, and related equipment in the event of an emergency.

Emergency Stops (E-Stops)

Built-in terminals for E-Stop circuits, allowing immediate power shutdown to connected equipment in the event of an emergency, as required by NEC® safety codes.

RCS_NEC_DHI.psd

Integrated Functionality

Isolates power between dispensers and pump controllers to prevent hook signals from one dispenser affecting another, avoiding false pump activation and unsafe service.

Dispenser Hook Isolation

Safety interlock feature tied to the nozzle cradles (referred to as “hooks”). When a nozzle is lifted, the signal allows the dispenser to operate. When it’s returned to the hook, the system cuts power to certain parts of the dispenser until the nozzle is lifted again, preventing unintended fueling.

RCS_NEC_Disconnects.psd

Integrated Functionality

Isolates low-voltage communication and data lines (including dispenser data, intercom data, and media/network data) from the dispenser during maintenance work or emergency shutdown.

Low-Voltage Dispenser Data Disconnects

Ensures NEC® compliant isolation of low-voltage data lines to fuel dispensers during E-stop or maintenance. This feature halts data communication, protecting electronics and safeguarding service technicians. (E-stop controlled).
